RE:                    Ruby Tuesday Awarded Employer Recognition Award from State Association

Elmira, NY | Watkins Glen, NY – The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is pleased to announce that Ruby Tuesday is one of four businesses, statewide, to receive The Arc New York’s 2020 Employer Recognition Award. An awards presentation will take place at Ruby Tuesday, located in the Arnot Mall, 3300 Chamber Road, Horseheads, on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM. Media partners are invited to attend.

 

Employers across the state are acknowledging the value of employing people with disabilities in their place of business. The Arc New York Employer Recognition Award provides Chapters the opportunity to recognize an individual, corporation, or business in New York state that has demonstrated outstanding support in providing services and job opportunities for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is a Chapter of The Arc New York.

 

Ruby Tuesday has supported The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler’s Career and Employment Support Services (Vocational Program) for a number of years, providing training and employment to individuals supported by the agency. Employment Support Services include person-centered vocational supports in a variety of settings, developing skills and good work habits as a way of increasing independence, and assisting individuals to become productive and contributing members of the community.
