Elmira, NY | Watkins Glen, NY – The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is pleased to announce that Nicole Brown has been named Chief Operating Officer for the Agency.

 

Nicole plays an integral role in the leadership at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, working closely with the organization’s senior management team and Board of Directors to support the Agency’s mission. Nicole is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Agency’s programs, establishing program objectives, upscaling processes, and maintaining ongoing stakeholder relationships. Nicole has demonstrated success in maximizing revenue and directing high-functioning teams, while also having fun and building a strong team atmosphere. 

 

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Nicole,” shared The Arc’s Chief Executive Officer, Salvatore Garozzo. “Her leadership, and the relationship she has with our staff and the people we support, is a huge asset to our overall mission. In addition, she has worked with our Agency for many years and has grown in each of the positions she had filled.”

 

Nicole began her career with The Arc in 2016, where she held the role of Vocational Services Manager, then transitioned into the role of Director of Vocational Services, followed by Residential Director of Intermediate Care Facilities. Nicole’s experience in these positions makes her the perfect fit for the Chief Operating Officer. Nicole holds a Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and an Associate of Science in Human Services degree.
