RE:                   Person Supported Receives Bike Thanks to Grant

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Elmira, NY | Watkins Glen, NY – The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is pleased to announce that it was the recipient of a grant from the IM ABLE Foundation. These funds were used to purchase a Rifton Tricycle, with specific adaptations to meet the mobility needs of an individual supported by the agency.

Bike recipient, Paul, was thrilled with the delivery of his new bike, which will enable him to be more independently active.

The mission of the IM ABLE Foundation is to remove obstacles that prevent people like Paul from being physically active by providing grants, resources, fitness opportunities and motivation. We change attitudes by redefining what is possible. For more information or to support IM ABLE’s mission to provide opportunities for people with adaptive needs, please go to imablefoundation.org.
