The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is a participant in The Arc of the United States’ Car Donation Program. The Arc's car donation program supports our efforts in ensuring that people with disabilities enjoy full participation in the community and are granted the same respect, equality, and security as every member of society.

How to Donate

The Arc accepts cars, vans, trucks, boats with a trailer, and recreational vehicles seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The process is simple!

• Fill out an online donation form. Or, call (877) 272-2270 and a friendly operator will assist you. 

• You will be asked to identify the specific chapter of The Arc that you would like to benefit from the gift. 90% of the net proceeds are donated to the chapter you specify. 

• You must be able to provide: the year, make and model of your vehicle, the general condition, the vehicle identification number, and have the title and lien in hand. 

• Once you hit the "Submit" button, you will receive an e-mail notification, normally within hours. 

• A towing agency will call you within 24 hours to make any towing arrangements before picking up your donated car.

• The vehicle will be sold at auction, after which the monies will be collected and the proceeds distributed.
