This strategic approach, for organizing and providing coordinated transportation services, provides services for individuals with disabilities as well as adults aged 55 and above including, but are not limited to:

• The coordination of transportation using area resources 

• Assistance with transportation options and concerns

• Travel training education for public transportation

The Mobility Coordinator is your point person for any transportation related questions, or concerns. The Mobility Coordinator exists to help individuals in the public maximize the benefits of transportation options in the area. They serve as a liaison to ensure that individuals can get transportation to the places they need to go. Responsibilities include assistance with the above, as well as:

• Assessing additional transportation resources

• Provide a point of contact for Southern Tier Rideshare for the staff of The Arc Chemung-Schuyler

• Increasing awareness of Schuyler County Riders Advisory Council
